About trailblazing through challenge. And living to explore, thrive, empower, and inspire.
Hailing from Bangalore, India, Rachana Reddy fuses timeless traditional elements with modern luxe in her exquisite fashion accessories.
With an emphasis on clean cuts, elegant motifs and fine detailing, her vibrant and charming designs are coveted by fashionistas across the world.
Rachana has a penchant for all things natural and an old world charm. She works with local artisans to craft her accessories from a medley of natural materials like wood, cane, silk, metals, semi-precious stones, mother of pearl, and so on.
While she pursued Chemical Engineering at one of Bangalore's prestigious institutions, a year and a half into her course, Rachana trusted her strong instincts to switch to Fashion Accessories Design.
Until then, she was transforming denim jeans into trendy bags, breathing new life into worn out shoes, and crafting funky necklaces from elastics.
She decided it was time to to turn her accessories design playground into a runway which led to her eventually graduating from Fashion Accessories Design course from the prestigious London College of Fashion - Cordwainers.

In a moment of reflection, the spark of inspiration struck: A hand carved lotus motif with silk filling on a wooden box.
Rachana crafted a masterpiece with local artisans in Madras - six months of ideation, experimentation and refinement!
With a prototype in hand, she jetted back to Bangalore to get her sister's stamp of approval.
Working from her basement with a stellar squad of local artisans and designers, she unveiled an exclusive line of 8 wooden clutches in 2010.
Rachana launched her collection in winter 2010, and debuted at Lakme Fashion Week SS11 in Mumbai and Wills India Fashion Week SS13 in Delhi.
She was named the Hottest Talent in Fashion by Elle Magazine in 2012. And she received the Grazià Young Fashion Award in 2013 for excellence in Fashion Accessories
Her products achieved tremendous success through organic promotion, resulting in extensive media coverage and recognition from a variety of
influential blogs and design publications like WGSN, Wallpaper, Refinery 29, Vogue, Grazia, Harpers Bazaar, Elle, People, Femina and Marie Claire.
Rachana then expanded her retail presence at her dream stores like Bombay Electric in India, to Paul Smith stores in London and Paris, to Saucein Dubai.
Over the years, Rachana has been learning, growing, and hustling.
For a brief few years, she took a step back from Rachana Reddy Accessories to embark on a spiritual journey and work through her personal and professional challenges while also setting foot into Interior design.
This time, she's all set to relaunch Rachana Reddy Accessories - a one-stop-shop for unique accessories, not limited to fashion.

Hula Hooper:Aside from her daily workout regimen, hula hooping is a part of Rachana's morning ritual
and key to her holistic wellness. Starting off as a complete novice, hula hooping has imparted invaluable
lessons of perseverance, that there's nothing one cannot learn, and that everything is figureoutable.
Spiritual:Her spiritual journey, gratitude journaling, meditation, and affirmations, have made Rachana a
"glass half-full" kind of a human.
Adventurous:Rachana experienced the thrill of a lifetime soaring through the skies, skydiving from
15,000 ft in Queenstown, New Zealand. An experience that pushed her to surrender, let go, and trust the
universe.
Animal lover:With a whole shebang of animals growing up - parrots, cockatoos, love birds, rabbits,
squirrels, turtle, dogs, and cats - one of Rachana's dreams was to be a veterinarian.
