About Petit point bags :
Petit point bags are exquisite and timeless fashion accessories that have been cherished for generations. These small, intricately embroidered purses are a testament to the artistry and craftsmanship of their creators. The term "petit point" is derived from the French words for "small point," highlighting the delicate nature of the needlework involved.
These bags typically feature intricate floral patterns, scenes, or geometric designs meticulously stitched onto a fabric background. The embroidery is often done with fine silk or cotton threads, showcasing a wide range of colors that add vibrancy and charm to the bag. Each stitch is a labor of love, requiring patience and skill, resulting in a truly unique and luxurious accessory.
Petit point bags are not only a symbol of craftsmanship but also a piece of history. They gained popularity during the 18th and 19th centuries, often associated with the fashion of that era. Today, they continue to be treasured heirlooms passed down through generations.
